U’LUVKA LUXURY VODKA is a luxury 40% Polish grain vodka, launched in the UK in spring 2005. However, it is not so much a new arrival as a great revival and has roots going back to the alchemists of the 17th century Polish Royal Court.
In those heady days, the tradition at Court was to drink vodka from glasses without bases. Once filled, these ‘legless’ glasses could not be put down until the entire contents had been drunk.
Legend has it that the Court was almost permanently intoxicated and affairs of state were grinding to a halt. The King and Queen called on Sendivogius, their genius Court Alchemist, to create a Royal Elixir, one that would allow the Court to drink all night and work all day. Sendivogius weaved his magic and created a spirit of such exceptional purity that it became legendary: the Court was saved, and just enough was never again too much…
U’Luvka Vodka is a recreation of Sendivogius’ unfathomable spell.
Since U’Luvka was launched in the UK in spring 2005, we have won ten major awards, including four Gold Medals for ‘exceptional vodka’. It is now being served at the white hot glamour spots in the UK, France, Switzerland, India, Canada and Dubai, and has just launched in the USA.
